How is the Maximum Drawdown calculated? What does Trailing vs. Static mean?

Written by Yulia

Static Max Loss (2-Step Lite and 2-Step Pro)

The floor is fixed from your starting balance and never moves. Example: $25,000 account with 6% Static Max Loss. Floor is permanently $23,500, even if the account grows to $30,000.

Trailing Max Loss with Lock (Pay After You Pass and 1-Step Challenge)

The floor follows your highest balance upward. Once your profit equals the Max Loss amount, the floor locks at your starting balance. Example: $25,000 account with 6% Trailing. Floor starts at $23,500, trails upward as balance grows, and locks permanently at $25,000 once you reach $1,500 in profit.
