Short Answer
Know Your Customer (KYC) verification confirms your identity and is required before your Simulated Funded Account can be issued. After successfully passing your Evaluation Program, you’ll be prompted to complete KYC through your FundingRock Dashboard.
What Is Required?
To complete KYC verification, you’ll need:
A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or national identity card).
A liveness check — a short, real-time selfie verification to confirm the ID belongs to you.
How to Complete KYC
Log in to your FundingRock Dashboard after passing your Evaluation.
Navigate to the KYC verification section.
Follow the prompts to upload your ID and complete the liveness check.
The process takes just a few minutes. You can check your KYC status directly from your FundingRock Dashboard at any time.
KYC Is One-Time per Person
Once your KYC has been approved, you don’t need to complete it again for future Simulated Funded Accounts on the same FundingRock profile. It applies across all Evaluation Programs and all future challenges you pass.
If Your KYC Is Pending
If your verification is still under review, your Simulated Funded Account cannot be issued until the process has been successfully completed. If additional information is required, you’ll be notified during the verification process.
If Your KYC Is Rejected
Common reasons for rejection include:
A blurry or partially obscured ID document.
An expired ID.
The liveness check not matching the submitted ID.
The submitted document not being a government-issued photo ID.
If your KYC is rejected, you’ll be notified with guidance on what went wrong, and you’re welcome to resubmit with a valid document. A rejected KYC does not affect your Evaluation result — your passed Evaluation remains valid while you resolve the issue.
Important
KYC must be completed before your Simulated Funded Account can be issued.
Ensure your information is accurate and your documents are clear and valid.
